Filipa trained at the Trinity Conservatoire as a dance movement therapist and is a Churchill Fellow. In 2013 she researched arts and health programmes in hospitals in the USA in 2013.
Filipa has also been a core artist and trustee of Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination, an arts organisation that promotes creativity and wellbeing. She was an external evaluator on the Princes Foundation for Children and the Arts’ Dance Quest. She co-founded Rosetta Life in 1997, working in hospice and end of life care. Filipa also works as consultant to Cambridge City and County councils.
Filipa works as a dance artist, dance facilitator and creative practitioner.
For many years Filipa has set up and run community dance and well-being groups for all ages and has worked in the NHS and in health care settings for over 25 years. She has set up innovative and integrated dance groups in the community for people living with a dementia, their families, friends, and carers

Debra qualified as a Nurse in 1985. Since then she has worked with in many different settings, such as hospitals, , GP practice’s, prisons and the community. Debra has experience in a variety of specialties including general medicine, care of the elderly, learning disabilities and mental health.
Debra holds a holds a degree in Health and Social Studies, a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical and Health Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Falls and Osteoporosis.
Debra has worked at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation rust since 1999 and in 2009 took on the role of Falls Prevention Co-ordinator for the Trust.
Debra has a keen interest in both Ballroom and Latin dancing and currently holds United Kingdom Alliance gold bar 1 in Latin and gold bar 2 in Ballroom.
Debra is the Dance for Health programme coordinator and co-creator of the movement, music and dance programme at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
